Membership Fees

Accredited coffins will have undergone a range of tests carried out by a UKAS accredited testing house, with those that pass the tests receiving accreditation. The tests include those for strength, roller/ball bearing functionality, auto-charging, ignition, radiant heat, ash volume and residue. Coffin lining materials can also be tested.

The CCSA will issue a stamp to any coffin supplier which has had their

products tested and approved by a UKAS accredited testing house

through the CCSA. All these tests have been carried out to the letter of

the testing protocol, with all the rigour, impartiality and

professionalism expected of a UKAS accredited testing house.
